Welcome to the Crimson Realms
The Vampire Kingdom has seen prosperity for a thousand years, but a growing fear looms over this world. Food supplies are running out. Humans living in the forest have dwindled. The human slaves within the kingdom are now being consumed at an alarming rate. With this loss, not only will the vampire world have nothing to eat, but all the knowledge of the city held by the slaves will also be gone. Who will build castles? Who knows the process of metallurgy? And what’s worse, there are rumors growing in the east that humans from this region have a new power so deadly that they can easily destroy their predators!
They call it Sorcery…
A reluctant Vampire Detective is sent out by his Queen to find this new power the humans wield and either destroy it, or learn to use it to combat the enemy. As his investigation expands, he begins to understand how the complex relationship between Dragon Blood and Sorcery will shape the future of the known world.

twisted Storybook Panels, Please?
Dave Youkovich jumped on board to create stunning storybook panels that visualize actual scenes within the book. Here’s a few samples of page layout below:
Concept Art By Anton Fort
Fort’s Concept Art help flesh out the colors visually and set a tone for all other illustrators involved. Though some of the characters evolved even more, the original artwork lives on!
Why Stop There? How About an Artists’ Alley!
We then enlisted the help of a myriad of Indie Illustrators to look at the characters and stories from different perspectives. These concepts are as varied as a Japanese Comic book cover, to T-shirt Ideas. Here are just a few below:
You know what would be cool…
Since we had so many untold stories and extra characters/concepts, we decided to build an RPG Role Playing Game around the Crimson Realms Lore. We wanted anyone who wanted to lead an RPG event of their own to be able to focus more on storytelling and character development, rather than being mired down in complex combat rules. So we simplified the RPG in such a way to still give players plenty of options, but spend more time having fun and getting on with the story!
